Ahrenshoop on the Fischland-Darß peninsula has been and still is a place of relaxation and inspiration for Halle's artists for a hundred years. Halle am Meer presents for the first time in a large panorama the
presents works created in connection with the Baltic Sea and brings together almost 300 works, mainly by painters from Halle, from one and a half centuries.

The exhibition project is a cooperation with the Dresden Institute for Cultural Studies and will take place in the summer of 2023 in Halle (Saale) in the Kunstmuseum Moritzburg and in the art gallery "Talstrasse" as well as in autumn/winter 2023/24 in Ahrenshoop in the local art museum and the Kunstkaten.

In the art museum Moritzburg Halle (Saale) the development from the Second World War up to the present is shown. The narrative continues seamlessly with works from the next generation in the late 1940s and reports on the furious new beginning in Halle.
