In spring 2018, HC Schink's newest catalog "Burma" was published by Kerber Verlag. This concludes the eponymous series by the artist. Between 2013 and 2016, Hans-Christian Schink made several trips to Burma. He was fascinated by the contradictions of a country that, after fifty years of military dictatorship, is rapidly changing to a state with the typical developments of Asian forms of capitalism. And all of this despite its conflictual and bloody history, its numerous ethnic, religious and political conflicts and the visible consequences of the mismanagement of the western Generals.

We cordially invite you and your friends to the opening with the artists on saturday, March 16th 2019 at Gallery Rothmel Erfurt. At 8 pm Prof. Dr. Kai Uwe Schierz from the Art Museums Erfurt will speak.
