A new work by Hiroyuki Masuyama

Hiroyuki Masuyama's presentation “Timeskip” is currently running in our Frankfurt gallery.
It is about the artist's engagement with the phenomenon of European Romanticism, with time travel and especially with the oeuvre of J.M.W.Turner.
In this context, Masuyama has once again dealt with Turner's painting "Sun setting over a Lake".

Masuyama follows in the footsteps of the romantic painter of light and atmosphere. He recomposes the works of the great English master from hundreds of individual photos and lets us experience their fascination in a contemporary form as a lightbox.
