Insects are irreplaceable. But their number and diversity are decreasing rapidly. In his annual exhibition “Playful? – Roulette with the insect and plant world” from July 18th to October 6th, 2024, the Palmengarten is dedicated to the ecological importance of flowers and pollinators. Along a varied route through the outdoor area, the historic palm house and the galleries, thirty-one artists illustrate our dependence on insects and plants as well as their incomparable beauty with metal sculptures, video animations, sound art, photography, painting and other media.
