Eckart Hahn at the Kunstverein Schwäbisch Hall
Opening: Saturday, 24/01/2015, 18 clock
Curated by Herma Walter and Peter Ege
Hahn's art shows off a most peculiar revival of the objective. It's like the boring, decrepit inventory of mimesis suddenly sit up, would run as an imperceptible tremor through the body of objectivity, as directed here suddenly the old strange life a Frankenstein monster, from which one can still expect surprises. The current surge which accomplishes this miracle, is the energy of ambiguity; the power source is in focus on the faucet surface. (Joachim Kalka)
It is the invisible fine mesh in the ground. It is the actual fungus from which one sees only the fruiting bodies on the surface. So I see my work: A web of invisible lines which are visible in the image. (Eckart Hahn)
